About

Hello! Thank you for visiting this little collection of information about me. Who am I? Well… My name is Beth first and foremost ( not Bethan please! As I am from Wales that’s all I was called growing up and it isn’t actually my name). I use she/her pronouns and am from North Wales and now based in Liverpool, though I lived in London for four years whilst studying acting at Fourth Monkey actor training. There I had the opportunity to devise and perform in Offie nominated Valhalla, as part of the Camden Fringe, which really opened my eyes to how much I enjoy creating my own work, particularly how much I enjoy writing.

Since graduating I have been involved in a number of new projects, including Oddly Satisfying TC’s R&D of clown show Club Introvert, and Girl Code Theatre’s verbatim piece Coming Home With Me. In 2019 I wrote and directed a pilot episode for a mockumentary Plague Ladies. I was also a member of the Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Young Writer Programme from 2020 to 2021, and more recently I have been venturing into writing short films and sketches.

I hope that with my work I can provide moments of escapism and laughter, whilst lifting others, especially those who are underrepresented in the industry. Basically, I’m a silly person who loves stories and finds joy in making things with like minded silly people.
